We ordered a flat stock of 20′ x 12″ x 1/4″ steel from Bayshore Metals. It was delivered today. Buck loaned us a couple of saws designed to cut steel and we set to making our undercarriage gussets.
In the evening our entire crew took a short hop to Buck’s studio because his swank plasma cutter is all that. We finished the day with Everette and Jones BBQ, grinding and buffing.
Steel work is no joke! This is some hard stuff. Or as Jeff is fond of saying; “Are we not men?!?”
