Berkeley Spark is this Saturday and UNAVERZ will show the world just how fantastic she is. Below is our work schedule. Anything you can do to help out would be appreciated. No previous experience required. Please bring friends.

Tuesday
3pm-? – Hang Mylar, wrap lights, grind welds, safety inspection, pick up supplies (chain, light connectors, odds-and-ends).
Wednesday
3pm-? – Hang lights, apply fabric, connect sound.
Thursday
3pm-? – Final everything. As in… make sure everything is working. We may be at American Steel until very, very late.
Friday
3pm-? Breakdown and pack up. We want this process to be as orderly as possible. Documenting how we take her apart is critical. What tools do we require? What order do we take things off? Were are the spares? What is not working that must be fixed for Saturday?
Saturday
6am – Drive to Berkeley
6:30-10am – Build UNAVERZ. The more hands we have the better. No previous skill required. Bring friends. Even 15 minutes of volunteering is a big help.
11am – 9pm – Berkeley Spark!!!
Stop by, hang out and enjoy your creation. Last year we had hundreds of people crawling all over UNAVERZ. Come chat with these folks and share your experiences as the Builders of the UNAVERZ.
9-10:00pm – Breakdown – We hope to accomplish total breakdown in an hour. We think we can do this if we have 5 or more (lucid) volunteers. Can it be done?
10:30-? – Decompress at American Steel and collect thoughts on the day. This is very important. If you can’t make it, please send an email with your comments/ideas. What went right? What went wrong? How did folks think we did? What can we do to make the experience better?
