I like the “C” or “U” set-up. I think it allows for a lot of space for the tech while still keeping the artists accessible.
I am concerned with how low (in height) many of the DJ decks are as I often see folks hunched over. I would like to construct a super-portable ergonomic mobile unit that is modular with maximum surface area for tech and a minimal ‘body’. We will not have to concern ourselves with rigidity as I am not designing this for scratching. If possible, I would like the VJ, DJ and mixing person to be right next to each other (they could be a single person).
