Sean and I set to work finishing the welding together of the undercarriage gusset assemblies (ice cream sandwiches). It took a lot more work than we thought and a whole lot more flux-core wire. Each assembly took almost 3/4 of a pound. We had to stop when we ran out.

We ordered a flat stock of 20′ x 12″ x 1/4″ steel from Bayshore Metals. It was delivered today. Buck loaned us a couple of saws designed to cut steel and we set to making our undercarriage gussets.
